Lindsay earned her B.S. from the University of South Florida with a concentration in Environmental Science and Policy, and serves as a Noise and Air Quality Specialist at KBE. Over the past 19 years, she has been involved in an extensive and wide array of transportation and environmental studies throughout the United States with particular focus on airport and highway-related noise and air quality assessments.
Lindsay’s extensive transportation noise experience includes sound level monitoring, computer modeling and simulation, noise abatement and mitigation, and public involvement. Her computer modeling and simulation of noise impacts including using the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) for airport assessments, the U.S. Air Force’s NOISEMAP model for measuring noise exposure in the vicinity of military installations, the U.S EPA’s MOVES and the U.S. Federal Highway Administration’s Traffic Noise Model (TNM) for highway traffic noise and noise barrier assessments. She also has extensive experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
In support of NEPA and CEQA documentation, her experience includes air pollutant and GHG emission inventories, atmospheric dispersion modeling, and the assessment of emission reduction measures. Lindsay is also knowledgeable of pertinent federal, state and local regulations and guidelines for conducting noise, air quality and transportation studies.
Lindsay is passionate about staying fit and enjoys boating and “RV’ing” with her husband Chris and two children.
