The staff at KBE are dedicated to helping clients achieve their highest possible goals aimed at the foundational tenants of Environment Sustainability. Through their education, training and experience these staff are able to offer these services that are equally feasible, meaningful and practicable both economically and environmentally. Examples include:
Emission Reduction Measures. By understanding how pollutant emissions are generated from stationary, mobile and area sources, the more effective are the means for reducing and even eliminating these emissions in the short- and long-terms. This application of “old-school” know-how combined with modern science and engineering are one of the hall-marks of KBE’s long-term success.
Greenhouse Gases and Climate Change. Perhaps there is no more pressing environmental impact to the environment than the effects of greenhouse gasses on climate change. Whether the client’s approaches involve emission estimates and reductions, feasibility studies or policy and stakeholder development, KBE has the necessary expertise to meaningful outcomes. In many cases, these services are coupled with other sustainability-supportive measures already in-place or planned.
Noise. Whether it’s noise from aircraft, roadways or industrial sources, the perceived impacts to neighboring communities are “real” to those live and work there. For this reason, KBE staff view the economic, social and environmental relationships between the noise sources and the receivers as interdependent. In this way, the remedies are often attained by a holistic view of the impacts and not in isolation from one another.
