Clint earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has over 11 years of experience performing noise and environmental modeling assessments for airport projects, airspace redesign studies, and environmental research programs. He joined KB Environmental in summer 2012 and is currently managing our Washington, D.C. area office.
Clint has led innovative noise studies for airports with complex land use and airspace constraints. He has worked closely with FAA officials to develop novel noise modeling approaches, considering not only the immediate airport environment, but the impacts of air traffic changes beyond 65 DNL contours. Clint is widely known for his ability to communicate noise impacts effectively to diverse audiences – including the general public and environmental organizations
Clint has also assessed noise and vibration impacts from highways and railroads and is experienced in architectural acoustics and residential sound insulation. He is an expert in the use of the following models: Integrated Noise Model (INM), Noise Integrated Routing System (NIRS), Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT), NOISEMAP, Rotorcraft Noise Model (RNM), Noise Model Simulation (NMSim), Traffic Noise Model (TNM), and the Federal Railroad Administration CREATE model.
